Fox denies rumour that Fantastic Four rights are back at Marvel, still planning sequel

Earlier today it was reported by Den of Geek that the rights to Fantastic Four had reverted to Marvel Studios, following yesterday’s news that Marvel has granted Fox permission to bring the X-Men to the small screen with two new TV series.

Well, it looks like Den of Geek’s source was playing the guessing game, as Comic Book has confirmed with Fox that the rights to Marvel’s First Family remain at the studio, and that plans for a sequel to this year’s box office disaster are still moving ahead.

So, if you were looking forward to seeing Reed Richards alongside the likes of Tony Stark and Bruce Banner, I’m afraid you’re out of luck. For the time being at least…
