Sylvester Stallone rumoured to appear in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

March 5, 2016 by Gary Collinson

It looks like Sylvester Stallone could be set to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the New York Daily News spotting Sly making his way to the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 on Friday.

Stallone was seen leaving an Atlanta hotel used by the rest of the cast of the film, script in hand, and reportedly got into a car usually assigned to Chris Pratt. However, as yet there’s been no official word from Marvel Studios to confirm his casting.

Should Stallone be appearing Guardians Vol. 2, it would reunite him with his Tango & Cash co-star Kurt Russell, who has signed on for an as-yet-unrevealed role which may or may not be Star-Lord’s father.
