Archie Comics has today announced that it is set to launch a new ongoing Betty & Veronica series from legendary comic book writer/artist Adam Hughes (Wonder Woman), which will join Archie and Jughead as part of the publisher’s New Riverdale line-up.
Best friends. Bitter rivals. As Riverdale’s most beloved blonde and brunette find themselves divided over the takeover of the town’s central hangout, Pop’s Chocklit Shoppe, battle lines are drawn and friends have become enemies as the town is enveloped in all-out civil war! Oh, and there will be jokes. Plenty of jokes.
Betty & Veronica #1 will hit comic book shops on July 20th.
