Adult Swim announces new Rob Corddry comedy pilot The Hindenberg Explodes!

May 20, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Adult Swim has announced that it is continuing its successful partnership with Rob Corddry, the creator behind the Emmy-winning series Childrens Hospital, with The Hindenburg Explodes!.

On May 6, 1937, the infamous Hindenburg zeppelin made its final voyage from Nazi Germany to New Jersey, where it exploded over a landing field. The Hindenburg Explodes! follows that flight and its unusual crew and passengers.

The quarter-hour live-action pilot is created by Corddry alongside Josh Perilo (Wedlock) and Jonathan Stern (Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp).
