Josh Brolin says he would do Jonah Hex again

June 10, 2016 by Gary Collinson

As he gears up to take on Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in the role of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, Josh Brolin has been reflecting on his earlier appearance in the DC universe alongside Megan Fox is the critical and commercial bust Jonah Hex.

In an interview with Comic Book Resources, Brolin has stated that while the movie was a disappointment, he would be up for another outing if the opportunity presented itself:

“People say, ‘I like your résumé, I like what you’ve chosen,'”, states Brolin. “I always appreciate that. I would still do Jonah Hex again. I don’t like the way it turned out at all, but I do think that there’s a good movie there. I think my intention was right. You’re never going to be perfect, man. You just do your best.”

Jonah Hex grossed just $10.5 million from a budget of $47 million, so you’d have to imagine a sequel won’t be high on Warner Bros.’ list of priorities.
