Keanu Reeves would be open The Matrix 4, if the Wachowskis were directing

February 20, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Out and about on the promotional rounds for his hit action sequel John Wick: Chapter 2, Keanu Reeves has been chatting to Yahoo! Movies about whether he’d be open to reprising the role of Neo for a fourth Matrix movie.

“The Wachowskis would have to be involved,” said Reeves. “They would have to write it and direct it. And then we’d see what the story is, but yeah, I dunno, that’d be weird, but why not?”

Neo was of course killed at the conclusion of the third movie The Matrix Revolutions, but as Reeves went on to note, “People die, people in stories don’t.”

Would you like to see Reeves reuniting with the Wachowskis for a fourth Matrix film? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below…

Legendary hitman John Wick is forced back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome where he squares off against some of the world’s deadliest killers.

John Wick: Chapter 2 reunites Keanu Reeves with the original’s co-director Chad Stahelski and returning stars Ian McShane, John Leguizamo, Bridget Monahan, Tom Sadowski, and Lance Reddick. New additions to the cast include Laurence Fishburne (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), Common (Selma), Ruby Rose (Resident Evil: The Final Chapter), Riccardo Scamarcio (Burnt) and Peter Stormare (Fargo)
