During a presentation at CinemaCon yesterday, Warner Bros. has announced that the upcoming Annabelle 2 is now going by the title Annabelle: Creation.

The follow up to the hit spinoff to The Conjuring is being directed by Lights Out helmer David F. Sandberg, and features a cast that includes Stephanie Sigman, Talitha Bateman, Anthony LaPaglia, Miranda Otto, Lulu Wilson, Philippa Coulthard, Grace Fulton, Lou Lou Safran, Samara Lee, Taylor Buck and Mark Bramhall. Here’s the official synopsis:
Annabelle 2 tells the tale of a dollmaker and his wife who, several years after the tragic death of their little girl, welcome a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home. Very soon, however, they become the target of the dollmaker’s possessed creation, Annabelle.
Annabelle: Creation is set for release on August 11th.
