Ray Fisher says Cyborg movie is still on track for 2020

May 21, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Although the DC Extended Universe movie slate has undergone a number of changes and additions since it was first announced back in 2014, it seems one of those original ten projects remains on track.

According to DC World, Ray Fisher was in attendance at the City of Heroes convention in the UK this weekend, where he revealed that the Cyborg solo movie remains in development, and is still on schedule for release in 2020.

We’ve heard nothing about the Cyborg movie since Warner’s first announcement, and as far as is know, there’s no director, screenwriter or cast attached to the project beyond Fisher. However, the the film is close to three years away from its planned April 3rd 2020 release date, and so has plenty of time to come together.

Fisher appeared briefly as Cyborg in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice last year, and will make his full DCEU debut in November with the release of Justice League.
