Baywatch star Priyanka Chopra says her dream is to play a superhero, wants Batgirl role

June 4, 2017 by Robert Kojder

Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra has been rather successful transitioning into Hollywood. Although Baywatch didn’t light the box office on fire or receive favorable reviews, no fault can be thrown her way; if anything, she has only gotten more ambitious as he is now seeking the role of Batgirl in the DC Extended Universe.

Speaking to OK Magazine, the actress spoke of her dream role stating that: “My dream part is, now that I’m working in America, I definitely want to do a superhero part. When I think of American movies, they’ve had superheroes for eons right? So I definitely want to play a superhero and I want to have an interesting superpower. I don’t know… Batgirl would be so cool!”

Coincidentally, there is a Batgirl film in development, which is being written and directed by The Avengers‘ Joss Whedon. Let us know in the comments below if you think Priyanka Chopra would be a good fit for the role, or if there are any other superhero characters you’d like to see her playing…
