Ben Hardy will reportedly play Roger Taylor in Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody

July 2, 2017 by Gary Collinson

After several years in development, it looks like the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody is finally starting to come together.

In November of last year, it was announced that Bryan Singer would be directing the project, with Mr. Robot star Rami Malek signing on to play the band’s iconic frontman Freddie Mercury.

Now, according to The Sun, X-Men: Apocalypse star Ben Hardy has become the latest addition to the cast, reuniting him with director Singer, as he takes on the role of the band’s drummer Roger Taylor.

Bohemian Rhapsody will chronicle the rise of the legendary British rock band leading up to their appearance at Live Aid in 1985.  Anthony McCarten (The Theory of Everything) has penned the script, and Graham King (The Departed) is producing alongside Queen members Taylor and Brian May.
