Rumour: Norman Osborn to feature in Sony’s Silver & Black

August 24, 2017 by Gary Collinson

It looks like Spider-Man’s arch-nemesis Norman Osborn could be set for a return to the big screen, although rather than introducing the iconic villain into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he’ll reportedly be part of Sony’s Spidey-less SpiderVerse.

According to The Hashtag Show, Osborn will be present in the spinoff movie Silver & Black, although he may not actually appear on screen and will simply be heard, setting him up for future appearances in the franchise. Instead, he’ll be represented by Charles Standish, Osborn Chemicals Senior Vice President.

This isn’t the first time that Osborn has been linked to Silver & Black, although it’s probably easier to list those Spider-Man villains who HAVEN’T been rumoured to appear, rather than those who have.
