To celebrate the upcoming release of Hearthstone’s latest expansion, Knights of the Frozen Throne, the Lich King is going to lay waste to numerous cities across Europe! Though he’s not doing this with the many undead denizens of Northrend, nor is he planning on swooping across the mighty cities of the fair continent – brandishing the Frostmourne – on the back of Sindragosa. Instead, he’s trundling into a few towns in an Ice-cream truck, with some lovely free frosty treats. The…ermm…horror!
The ice-cream truck shall be touring from the 12th to the 26th August, before making its way to Gamescom 2017. The exact stops are below :-
- August 12: Paris, France — Parvis de La Défense — 11:00-19:00
- August 14: Lille, France — Place François Mitterand — 12:00-20:00
- August 16: Brighton, UK — Jubilee Square — 11:00-19:00
- August 21: Warsaw, Poland — Arkadia shopping center — 12:00-20:00
- August 23: Berlin, Germany — Sony Center — 9:00-19:00
- August 25 and 26: Cologne, Germany — gamescom city festival — 15:00-23:00
Visitors can grab a cone or slush drink and play a few games of Hearthstone via the truck’s free Wi-Fi hotspot. On-site cosplayers and a giant Hearthstone card frame will also be available for photo opportunities. Pictures can be shared on social media with #IceCreamCitadel for the chance to win some goodies.
