Earlier this week Warner Bros. announced the upcoming release of Batman Ninja, an anime feature film set for release in 2018, and now following its New York Comic Con panel, we have our very first poster for the movie. Take a look here…
As per i09, it was revealed during the panel that the film will see Batman, Nightwing, Robin and a host of the Rogues Gallery transported back in time to feudal Japan. Fans in attendance were treated to some footage featuring Batman and The Joker duelling with samurai swords, as well a a montage of scenes which included the characters of Harley QUinn, The Penguin and Gorilla Grodd.
Batman Ninja is set for release in 2018, and features a creative team that includes director Jumpei Mizusaki (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure), character designer Takashi Okazaki (Afro Samurai), screenwriter Kazuki Nakashima (Kamen Rider Fourze) and English language screenwriters Leo Chu and Eric Garcia (Supa Ninjas).
