Scott Eastwood keen on Wolverine role

October 7, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Having enjoyed a supporting turn in the DC Extended Universe last year, portraying Lt. GQ Edwards in Suicide Squad, Scott Eastwood has now thrown his hat in the ring for another comic book movie role, and this time he’s gunning for the lead.

During an interview with Comic Book at the New York Comic Con, where he was promoting his new film Pacific Rim Uprising [watch the trailer here], Eastwood responded to a question about which superhero role he’d like to play by stating: “Weapon X. I mean, Logan! You gotta give it to Wolverine! Wolverine, all day.”

Assuming 20th Century Fox decides to continue using the fan favourite mutant, there is of course an opening for the role of Wolverine following Hugh Jackman’s final outing earlier this year in Logan. Would Scott Eastwood be a good fit in your opinion? Let us know in the comments below…
