Forking great news ashholes, NBC have renewed The Good Place for a third season. The Good Place stars Kristen Bell’s as Eleanor, who has just died after living a brief, rather selfish life.  She arrives in the heavenly “good place,” where she meets Michael (Ted Danson), who explains that she will live the perfect life with her soulmate Chidi (William Jackson Harper) in her dream house with dream friends. The only problem is, she doesn’t belong there. This isn’t her soul mate or her dream house. She and the friends she makes have to figure out what’s going on before something terrible happens.

The Good Place stars Ted Danson, Kristen Bell, William Jackson Harper, Jameela Jamil, Manny Jacinto and D’Arcy Carden. In addition to executive producing, creator Mike Schur serves as writer and showrunner. David Miner, Morgan Sackett and Drew Goddard also executive produce. The Good Place is produced by Universal Television, Fremulon and 3 Arts Entertainment.

Are you watching The Good Place? And if not, why not? Arguably the smartest, funniest show on television since Rick and Morty, The Good Place has operated under the radar for the last year or so, but has rocketed to prominence with its wonderfully drawn characters and genuine belly-laughs.
