Techland announces new PvP expansion, Dying Light: Bad Blood

December 8, 2017 by Andrew Newton

There’s been a large amount of requests for a PvP feature within Dying Light from fans since the game came out and finally Techland have answered fan’s prayers by revealing its new standalone expansion, Dying Light: Bad Blood.  This new expansion will offer players with violent online matches that mix PvP with PvE for a truly exciting Dying Light experience.

Dying Light: Bad Blood will see 6 players dropped into a zombie infested zone with the objective to collect blood samples from the infected.  The more samples collected by the group will provide more places available in the extraction chopper, however, the players who have the most samples will secure a place so expect backstabbing and a mean fight for survival.

Techland have announced a Global Playtest closed event for Dying Light: Bad Blood which PC players can sign up for here.

“Our aim is both to satisfy players’ demands for competitive PvP gameplay and to explore new directions for Dying Light’s multiplayer experience,” said Tymon Smektala, Producer at Techland. “Since Bad Blood was inspired by fan requests, we want player feedback to be an integral part of our development. That’s why we’re inviting Dying Light fans to take part in our Global Playtest. They can play the expansion early and share their thoughts, knowing their feedback will have a major influence on Bad Blood’s development.”
