Woody Harrelson in talks for Venom, set photos see Tom Hardy performing motorcycle stunt

December 13, 2017 by Gary Collinson

It looks like Woody Harrelson is set to follow up his role in the galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story by joining the Marvel universe – well, the Sony one, at least – with Variety reporting that the actor is in talks to join the Venom solo movie.

Although details are scarce, it’s said that Harrelson is up for the role of a henchman, presumably to Riz Ahmed’s (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) villain, rumoured to be that of Carnage. Given that Venom is taking inspiration from the Lethal Protector story arc, it’s possible that we could see Harrelson with his own symbiote.

Meanwhile, thanks to Atlanta Filming, we also have a look at some new spy photos from the set of the filming featuring Tom Hardy performing a motorcycle stunt as Eddie Brock. What exactly is going on here, we’ll have to wait and see…

Directed by Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland), Venom is set for release on October 5th 2018 and features a cast that includes Tom Hardy, Riz Ahmed, Michelle Williams, Jenny Slate, Reid Scott and Scott Haze.
