Stanley Tucci cast in A Private War

January 18, 2018 by Ricky Church

Variety has reported that Stanley Tucci (The Hunger Games) will be joining Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl), Jamie Dornan (Fifty Shades Freed) and Tom Hollander (The Night Manager) in the independent journalism biopic A Private War.

The film is being directed by Matthew Heineman (Cartel Land, City of Ghosts) and stars Pike as American-born British war reporter Marie Colvin, exploring her dangerous assignments in conflict zones such as Chechnya, Kosovo, Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka.

Arash Amel has penned the script from Marie Brenner’s 2012 Vanity Fair article ‘Marie Colvin’s Private War’, while Basil Iwanyk, Marissa McMahon, Charlize Theron and Matthew George serve as producers alongside Denver & Delilah Films.
