Sharon Stone, Ed Helms and Jessica Williams are Corporate Animals

May 14, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Screen Daily is reporting that Sharon Stone (Basic Instinct), Ed Helms (The Hangover) and Jessica Williams (The Incredible Jessica James) are to star in the new comedy Corporate Animals.

Directed by Patrick Brice (Creep) from a script by Sam Bain (Four Lions), Corporate Animals will see Stone portraying the egotistical CEO of a firm which makes edible cutlery. During a team-building exercise in Mexico, disaster strikes, leaving the work colleagues trapped underground.

“Corporate Animals is one of the funniest scripts we’ve seen and actually a little close to the bone at times,” said Dave Bishop, CEO of Protagonist Pictures. This is not so much a reference to the occasional bit of cannibalism and more the office politics of a small business! Suffice to say, everyone at Protagonist loved it, it’s tremendous fun and we think buyers will find it just as hilarious as we did.”

Production on Corporate Animals is set to get underway this summer.
