Doctor Who series 11 teaser trailer introduces Jodie Whittaker’s Thirteenth Doctor and her new companions

As promised, the BBC has unveiled a first trailer for the upcoming eleventh series of Doctor Who during today’s World Cup final.

The teaser offers us a glimpse at Jodie Whittaker’s Thirteenth Doctor and her new companions Ryan Sinclair (Tosin Cole), Yasmin Khan (Mandip Gill), and Graham (Bradley Walsh), as well as showcasing a new “cinematic” visual style courtesy of incoming showrunner Chris Chibnall and his production team.

As yet, there’s no word on an exact premiere date for Doctor Who series 11, but we do know that it will get underway in the autumn, and run for ten episodes in total.
