First look at Linda Hamilton, Mackenzie Davis and Natalia Reyes in the Terminator reboot

August 1, 2018 by Ricky Church

Arnold Schwarzenegger isn’t the only one who’ll be back in Tim Miller’s Terminator reboot as 20th Century Fox has revealed the first look at the returning Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor, the franchise’s original heroine and mother of humanity’s resistance leader and saviour John Connor. The image also gives us our first look at Mackenzie Davis (Blade Runner 2049) and Natalia Reyes (Lady) alongside Connor.

Davis’ role is still unknown, but its clear she’s gearing up for some intense action with Hamilton. Reyes, meanwhile, is said to be the film’s lead as a young woman in Mexico City who gets caught up in Connor’s war against Skynet and the Terminators. Plot details are still fairly scarce, but we do know Miller and James Cameron, who is returning again to the franchise as a producer for this film, are treating the new Terminator as a direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgement Day and ignoring the events of the last three films in the series.

Terminator 6 also stars Diego Boneta (Pretty Little Liars) and Gabriel Luna (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), with the latter taking on the role of a new Terminator. Production is taking place in Budapest, where Schwarzenegger has now began filming.

Terminator 6 is set to hit theaters on November 22nd, 2019.
