Up until now the only thing we really knew about Netflix’s Ryan Reynolds and Michael Bay team-up action flick, 6 Underground, is that it wasn’t a Thundercats movie, and that it co-stars Dave Franco (The Disaster Artist), Adria Arjona (Pacific Rim Uprising), Corey Hawkins (The Walking Dead), Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (Sicario: Day of the Soldado), Ben Hardy (Bohemian Rhapsody) and Lior Raz (Fauda).
There have been some further developments in the form of a rather enjoyable behind-the-scenes clip, which you can watch below, that is both inimitably Ryan Reynolds, and quintessential Michael Bay. In other words, charm and pyrotechnics.
How much of the reported $150 million budget was taken up by that slice of vehicular mayhem is anyone’s guess, as is a release date, with 6 Underground set to land on Netflix sometime in 2019.
