Anthony Michael Hall reportedly cast in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 6

January 20, 2019 by Gary Collinson

Aside from a first-look image revealing Henry Simmons’ Alphonso “Mack” Mackenzie as Phil Coulson’s (Clark Gregg) successor as Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., and a behind-the-scenes image of Quake’s (Chloe Bennet) new look, we’ve had very little in the way of details on this summer’s shortened sixth season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..

Well, what we do now have is some potential casting news, with Revenge of the Fans claiming that Anthony Michael Hall (The Breakfast Club, Weird Science) is set to feature in the season, making a guest appearance in an as-yet-undisclosed role.

Hall does have past experience in the world of superheroes, having appeared as Gotham Cable News reporter Mike Engel in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight.

Meanwhile, the same reports also suggests that season six will also see the return of two previous guest stars in Joel Stoffer (Enoch) and Briana Venskus (Agent Piper).

Season six of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will premiere in July 2019 and features a cast that includes Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge, Henry Simmons, Natalia Cordova-Buckley and Jeff Ward. Meanwhile, a seventh season has already been ordered, and is being shot back-to-back with the sixth.
