Loki was fully redeemed in Avengers: Infinity War says Tom Hiddleston

January 15, 2019 by Samuel Brace

Loki actor Tom Hiddleston says the character was redeemed thanks to his actions in Avengers: Infinity War.

Loki has certainly lived up to his name as the ‘god of mischief’ in the MCU, causing trouble and mayhem wherever he has turned up. The character has been a fan favourite right from the get-go but his actions have certainly cast him as a villain.

He’s had his better moments, of course, no more so than in Infinity War, shortly before he met his end. Did his action redeem him though? Well, Tom Hiddleston certainly thinks so. Speaking at ACE Comic Con (via SyFy Wire), the actor said:

“I think that first film really humanizes him and I think makes the rest of the journey interesting. It makes you always think that he could be pulled back, he could be redeemed and, in my opinion, he is redeemed in Infinity War.”

Do you agree with Hiddleston’s analysis? He certainly went out on the right note but does that undo what he’s done in the past?
