After teasing its arrival a couple of days ago, Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema have now released the first trailer for the anticipated It: Chapter Two. The sequel to the 2017 hit, which became the highest grossing horror movie of all time, follows the Losers’ Club as adults as they return to the town of Derry to stop the evil Pennywise once and for all. The film is based on the 1986 book by Stephen King and is considered one of his most famous novels. Beofre being turned into a film by director Andy Muschietti, it was made as a two-part miniseries in 1990 with Tim Curry starring as Pennywise.
It: Chapter Two will see Bill Skarsgard reprising his role as Pennywise the Dancing Clown, while Jessica Chastain (Beverly), James McAvoy (Bill), Bill Hader (Richie), James Ransone (Eddie), Andy Bean (Stanley), Jay Ryan (Ben) and Isaiah Mustafa (Mike) star as the adult versions of The Losers’ Club. Young It stars Jaeden Lieberher, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Wyatt Oleff, Jack Dylan Grazer and Chosen Jacobs are also set to reprise their roles from the first movie in flashback sequences.
It: Chapter Two will be released on September 6th, 2019.
