Aubrey Plaza, Christopher Abbott and Sarah Gadon join Black Bear

July 31, 2019 by Gary Collinson

Aubrey Plaza (Child’s Play), Christopher Abbott (Catch-22) and Sarah Gadon (True Detective) have been cast in Black Bear, a new thriller from director Lawrence Michael Levine (Wild Canaries, Always Shine).

The film sees Abbott and Gadon as “an expecting couple who are confronted with an out-of-town guest Abigail (Plaza), a filmmaker suffering from writer’s block who seeks solace in the woods but finds herself at the center of a twisted love triangle.”

“Black Bear is a thriller that depicts broken characters wrestling with a seemingly shattered world that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats” states Levine. “I am thrilled to have such a talented trio of actors on board.”
