Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg producing United Nations workplace comedy

Deadline is reporting that Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s Point Grey Pictures is teaming with Lionsgate TV to develop a new workplace comedy for CBS, which is titled UNprofessionals and hails from writers Andy Schwartz (Scrubs) and Randy and Jason Sklar (Just Saying).

The potential series will offer “a behind the scenes look at a group of the least important people working at one of the world’s most important places: The United Nations.”

As yet there’s no word on casting, but Rogen and Goldberg are board to executive proudce with Schwartz and the Sklar brothers, as well as Jay Chandrasekhar (New Girl, Arrested Development) who will also direct.

UNprofessionals is one of the first projects to be developed by Point Grey under its new multiplatform content deal with Lionsgate. Should it make it to series, it will become Point Grey’s fifth TV series after Preacher, Future Man, Black Monday and The Boys.
