Pick of the London Film Festival Special #4 with Katie Smith-Wong and Sarah Miles | The Pick of the Flicks Podcast

October 9, 2019 by Tom Beasley

During the course of the BFI London Film Festival 2019, The Pick of the Flicks Podcast is devoting itself to looking at the best of the fest. This time around, it’s two guests for the price of one as we discuss Rian Johnson’s murder-mystery Knives Out and Noah Baumbach’s drama Marriage Story…

On this week’s episode of The Pick of the Flicks Podcast, host Tom Beasley takes a look at a couple of LFF highlights with the help of critics Katie Smith-Wong and Sarah Miles. There’s plenty of spoiler-free chat about Rian Johnson’s delightful whodunnit Knives Out, starring Daniel Craig as a suave sleuth, as well as a review of the Netflix drama Marriage Story, which follows Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson as a couple falling out of love.
