Rumour: Alison Brie wanted for Marvel’s She-Hulk

February 27, 2020 by Gary Collinson

With Marvel Studios’ first slate of TV shows all in various stages of production (save for Hawkeye, which as we’ve heard recently, may no longer be targeting a 2021 premiere), attention is starting to shift towards the second slate of live-action Disney+ shows in the MCU canon.

One of those three shows is She-Hulk, and, if a rumour from Twitter “scooper” Daniel Richtman is to be believed, it seems that Marvel is targeting an “Alison Brie-type” for the role of Bruce Banner’s cousin Jennifer Walters, with the GLOW and Community star herself allegedly topping the shortlist.

Filming on She-Hulk is reportedly due to get underway in the summer, which means it shouldn’t be too long before we find out whether there’s any weight to this report and get some official casting news – not just on this series, but also Ms. Marvel and Moon Knight.
