Luther actress Wunmi Mosaku joins Marvel’s Loki

March 8, 2020 by Gary Collinson

With filming on Marvel’s Loki now in full swing in Atlanta, it has been revealed that Luther and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice actress Wunmi Mosaku has joined the cast of the Disney+ series.

Mosaku was present alongside returning star Tom Hiddleston (Loki) and MCU newcomers Owen Wilson and Sophia Di Martino in recent spy photos from the set of the show, where she appeared to be portraying an agent of the Time Variance Authority (TVA).

Along with the above, Loki is also set to feature Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Motherless Brooklyn) in a mystery role, while it’s been reported this week that The Walking Dead actress Cailey Fleming is playing a young version of The Enchantress.

Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the series will revolve around the alternate Loki from Avengers: Endgame who escaped with the Space Stone following the Battle of New York. It’s been speculated that the plot may see the God of Mischief teaming with the TVA in order to go up against another alternate version of himself, this time female, with Di Martino rumoured to be playing Lady Loki.

Loki is set to premiere on Disney+ in the Spring of 2021.
