EA to officially announce Star Wars Squadrons on Monday

June 13, 2020 by Gary Collinson

Following a slip on the official Microsoft Store revealing the title, EA has moved to announce that it is set to officially reveal Star Wars Squadrons this coming Monday with a YouTube live-stream taking place at 8am PT (around 4pm in the UK).

While specific details are being kept under wraps, it is believed that Star Wars Squadrons is the game that EA Motive has been working on, code-named Maverick, which is slated for release later this year. Given the title and the cover artwork, it seems pretty safe to assume Star Wars fans have some space-based combat on the horizon, but we’ll find out for sure with the reveal on Monday.

Are you excited about the prospect of getting into the cockpit of an X-Wing or TIE Fighter for Star Wars Squadrons? Let us know what you’re hoping to see from the game in the comments or on our social channels @flickeringmyth…
