Frozen 2 to release two weeks early on Disney+ in UK & Ireland

June 2, 2020 by Liam Waddington

The highest-grossing animated film of all time, Frozen 2, will be available two weeks ahead of schedule on 3rd July 2020 via the Disney+ streaming service, says the Walt Disney Company.

Frozen 2 is directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck and follows Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven on their journey into the unknown to discover the source of Elsa’s magical powers and save the kingdom of Arendelle. The film features a voice cast including Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Josh Gad, Jonathan Groff, Evan Rachel Wood, and Sterling K. Brown.

This isn’t the only Frozen title premiering on the streaming service in the coming weeks as the Disney+ Original documentary series Into the Unknown: Making Frozen 2 is set to debut globally on 26th June 2020. The series focuses on the filmmakers, artists, songwriters and cast behind the film to reveal the work that goes into creating the biggest animated film ever.
