New trailer for Cursed starring Katherine Langford as the Lady of the Lake

July 1, 2020 by Amie Cranswick

With a little over two weeks to go until Cursed arrives on Netflix, the streaming service has released a new trailer for the fantasy drama. Based on Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler’s graphic novel of the same name, the series sees Katherine Langford (13 Reasons Why) lead the cast as Nimue, the Lady of the Lake; watch it here…

Based on the upcoming book of the same name, Cursed is a re-imagining of the Arthurian legend, told through the eyes of Nimue, a teenage heroine with a mysterious gift who is destined to become the powerful (and tragic) Lady of the Lake. After her mother’s death, she finds an unexpected partner in Arthur, a young mercenary, in a quest to find Merlin and deliver an ancient sword. Over the course of her journey, Nimue will become a symbol of courage and rebellion against the terrifying Red Paladins, and their complicit King Uther.

Cursed features a cast that also includes Devon Terrell (Barry), Gustaf Skarsgard (Westworld), Peter Mullan (Ozark), Lily Newmark (Sex Education), Shalom Brune-Franklin (The State), Daniel Sharman (Fear the Walking Dead), Sebastian Armesto (Broadchurch), Emily Coates (Flack), Catherine Walker (Versailles) and Billy Jenkins (The Crown).
