Rocksteady confirms Suicide Squad game, full reveal at DC FanDome

August 7, 2020 by Gary Collinson

After months rumour and speculation, Rocksteady – the company behind Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City and Batman: Arkham Knight – has officially confirmed that it is working on a Suicide Squad game by sharing the following teaser art to a new Twitter account…

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment recently registered the web domains “SuicideSquadKillTheJusticeLeague.com” and “SuicideSquadGame.com” and this poster certainly appears to suggest that Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League could be the title of the game (although there’s some speculation online that the poster could actually feature Bizarro rather than Superman).

According to rumours, the game will see Amanda Waller going to war with the Justice League after Batman attempts to shut her down of the creation of Project Cadmus, and will allow players to take on the roles of Deadshot, Harley Quinn, El Diablo, Captain Boomerang, King Shark, Cheetah and Enchantress.

This is all unconfirmed at present, but we’ll get more information during DC FanDome on August 22nd – which also happens to be the day we’ll get a first look at James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad movie. Looks like it’s going to be an exciting day for fans of Task Force X and DC in general.
