As part of its 80th anniversary celebrations for the Amazon Princess, DC Comics ha announced the upcoming launch of Sensational Wonder Woman.
A new weekly Digital First series, Sensational Wonder Woman promises to “deliver dynamic, standalone stories that are free of continuity, giving hardcore fans even more Wonder Woman action to love and new fans a fun starting point to enjoy stories and provide a gateway to discovering more about Princess Diana.”
The first arc will pair creators Stephanie Phillips (Harley Quinn) and Meghan Hetrick (Wonder Woman: Agent of Peace) for a story which sees Diana trapped in an alternate reality after a psychic blast from the evil Doctor Psycho. Hawkgirl will also guest star in the story, while future arcs will see Wonder Woman teaming with the likes of Cheetah, Steve Trevor, Hippolyta, Wonder Girl and others.

Sensational Wonder Woman #1 will go on sale digitally on January 6th 2021, with a print version launching on March 2nd 2021.
