DC animated movie Justice Society: World War II gets voice cast and first-look image

January 7, 2021 by EJ Moreno

The Justice Society, one of DC Comics’ most notable teams, will make their way to the animated world. Previously announced at DC Fandome, Justice Society: World War II will debut in Spring of this year, and now they have their voice actors.

THR reports that Stana Katic and Matt Bomer are headlining the voice cast, with Katic as Wonder Woman and Bomer tackling Barry Allen’s The Flash. Matt Bomer and Stana Katic worked together in another DC animated film before, Superman: Unbound, where they played Clark Kent and Lois Lane.

The cast for Justice Society: World War II also includes Elysia Rotaru as Black Canary, Chris Diamantopoulos as Steve Trevor, Omid Abtahi as Hawkman, Matthew Mercer as Hourman, Armen Taylor as Jay Garrick, Liam McIntyre as Aquaman, Ashleigh LaThrop as Iris West, Geoffrey Arend as Charles Halstead/Advisor, Keith Ferguson as Dr. Fate and Darin De Paul as Roosevelt.

Through over more than 40 animated DC films, Justice Society has never appeared in any real capacity. The iconic team did briefly appear in the 2008 animated film, Justice League: The New Frontier, but this will be the first full-length outing in film.
