Sandra Bullock climbs aboard Sony’s Bullet Train with Brad Pitt

February 10, 2021 by Matt Rodgers

David Leitch will need to add yet another carriage to his ever-expanding Bullet Train with the news that Sandra Bullock is set to climb aboard his star-studded action movie for Sony Pictures.

Despite having shared the same cinematic universe with their respective Ocean’s installments, Bullet Train will be the first time that Bullock has teamed up with Brad Pitt. Deadline reports that the Birdbox actor will join an impressive list of passengers that includes Logan Lerman, Lady Gaga, Joey King, Zazie Beetz, Michael Shannon, Bryan Tyree Henry, Hiroyuki Sandana, Masi Oka, and Andrew Koji.

Bullet Train – which is based on the Japanese novel Maria Beetle by best-selling author Kotaro Isaka – will be directed by Leitch who will also be supervising the script written by Zak Olkewicz. The book follows five assassins who all find themselves on the same train from Tokyo to Morioka. First published in 2010, the English translation of Isaka’s novel will hopefully be released sometime this year.

Does this make you even more excited to book a ticket for Bullet Train? Let us know what you think of the casting news by heading over to our social channels @FlickeringMyth…..
