Cara Buono, Clare Foley, Spencer List and William Sadler join horror She Came From The Woods

June 23, 2021 by Ricky Church

Cara Buono (Stranger Things), Clare Foley (Gotham), Spencer List (Good Trouble) and William Sadler (Bill & Ted Face The Music) will be seen next in the horror film She Came From The Woods.

She Came From The Woods is based on the Bloomquist’s 2017 short film of the same name.  It follows “the staff of an overnight camp as they conjure an old legend on the last day of the summer of 1987.”

Per Deadline, the film has already completed production in a secretive shoot from director Erik Bloomquist with a script by himself and his brother Carson Bloomquist. Also starring in the film are Michael Park (Stranger Things) and Tyler Elliot Burke (The Punisher).

“After planting the seed with our short film, we are elated to finally bring this story to full and vivid life,” said the Bloomquist Brothers in their announcement. “She Came From the Woods is a coming-of-age horror movie rooted in themes of familial legacy, the dangers of groupthink, and the motives behind the stories we tell and the secrets we keep.”

She Came From The Woods is developed and produced by the Bloomquist’s Mainframe Pictures.
