First look at Netflix’s Splinter Cell anime series

June 15, 2021 by Gary Collinson

Last year it was announced that Netflix and Ubisoft had teamed with John Wick creator Derek Kolstad for an anime adaptation of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell, and we’ve now got our first look at Sam Fisher in the upcoming series:

Based on the bestselling video game series which first launched back in 2002, Splinter Cell follows Sam Fisher, a black ops agent working for a mysterious division of the NSA known as the Third Echelon.

Splinter Cell has received a two-season order from Netflix, each consisting of eight episodes, and Kolstad provided an update on the show’s progress back in March where he suggested that it was still eighteen months to two years out from completion.

Are you looking forward to the Splinter Cell anime series? Let us know on our social channels @FlickeringMyth…
