First poster for Spencer starring Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana

August 26, 2021 by Gary Collinson

Ahead of its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival next month, STXfilms has unveiled the first teaser poster for Spencer, the new biographical drama from director Pablo Larrain (Jackie, Lisey’s Story) which sees Kristen Stewart taking on the role of Princess Diana. Check it out here…

The marriage of Princess Diana and Prince Charles has long since grown cold. Though rumours of affairs and a divorce abound, peace is ordained for the Christmas festivities at the Queen’s Sandringham Estate. There’s eating and drinking, shooting and hunting. Diana knows the game. But this year, things will be a whole lot different. SPENCER is an imagining of what might have happened during those few fateful days.

Spencer sees Kristen Stewart starring alongside Sean Harris, Sally Hawkins, Jack Farthing and Timothy Spall. It will release in cinemas later this year following its premiere at Venice on September 3rd.
