Jamie Clayton announced as the new Pinhead in Hellraiser reboot

Spyglass Media Group and Hulu have announced that one of the most iconic figures in horror is set to pass the puzzle box to Jamie Clayton with the news that the Sense8 actor will take on the role of Pinhead in their upcoming Hellraiser reboot.

Originally played by Doug Bradley in the 1987 cult classic, as well as countless sequels, the pins will now be knocked into the bonce of Clayton, who joins Brandon Flynn (13 Reasons Why) Goran Visnjic (The Boys) Drew Starkey (Love, Simon) Adam Faison (Everything’s Gonna Be Okay), Aoife Hinds (Anne Boleyn), Selina Lo (Boss Level) and Hiam Abbass (Blade Runner 2049) in the reboot.

Deadline report thats the production has already wrapped and that it will debut on Hulu. The man who summoned the cenobites from his imagination, Clive Barker, is on board as a producer.

Director David Bruckner said of the news that “It’s been such an honor to have Clive onboard to help support and shepherd us through the incredible universe he created so long ago. Combined with a fearless and committed cast, including the amazing Jamie Clayton, who fully embodies the role as the Hell Priest, we’re aiming to create a very special new chapter in the Hellraiser legacy.”
