Halo Infinite trailer showcases Master Chief mural and choir

December 8, 2021 by Ricky Church

Today is the day Xbox players can once again suit up at the iconic Master Chief in Halo Infinite, the latest entry in the Halo franchise. To celebrate, 343 Industries and Microsoft revealed a trailer showcasing a gigantic mural titled ‘Master Piece’, depicting Master Chief and other Spartans in battle on the Halo ring set to the series’ classic theme sung by a young choir group. Watch the trailer and check out the image below…

The 3 metre by 6 metre painting was done by artist Iva Troj and is actually up for display at London’s Saatchi Gallery until December 15.

Halo Infinite is the third chapter in what 343 calls The Reclaimer Saga after Halo 4 and Halo 5: Guardians, the latter game detailing Cortana going rogue with Forerunner technology to institute a galactic uprising of AI for a forceful peace. Halo Infinite will see Master Chief joined by a new version of Cortana named ‘The Weapon’ as they search Zeta Halo to find out what happened to Cortana.

When all hope is lost, and humanity’s fate hangs in the balance, the Master Chief is ready to confront the most ruthless foe he’s ever faced. Begin anew and step inside the armor of humanity’s greatest hero to experience an epic adventure and finally explore the scale of the Halo ring itself.
