It’s a romantic mission to mars in trailer for Warner Bros.’ Moonshot

March 11, 2022 by Matt Rodgers

Good rom-coms come around about as often as a total eclipse of the sun, and Warner Bros. are hoping they have one with Moonshot, which tells the story of Sophie (Lana Condor – To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before) and her tick box relationship with Calvin (Mason Gooding – Scream).

The only problem with this seemingly perfect union is the fact he lives on another planet, so when Sophie decides to go and see him, her friend Walt (Cole Sprouse – Riverdale) stows away on the rocket, and this mission to mars becomes something completely different altogether; check out the charming trailer below…

A romantic comedy with a twist, “Moonshot” follows Walt and Sophie as they join forces in order to be reunited with their significant others, embarking upon a lively journey that winds up taking them both wildly and unexpectedly off course.

The film stars Cole Sprouse (Five Feet Apart), Lana Condor (Alita: Battle Angel), Mason Gooding (Love, Victor), Emily Rudd (Fear Street trilogy) and Zach Braff (Garden State). Christopher Winterbauer (Wyrm) directed from Max Taxe’s screenplay.

Moonshot streams on HBO Max from from March 31st.
