Take a look at Henry Cavill, Dua Lipa and Ariana DeBose in Matthew Vaughn’s Argylle

March 9, 2022 by Matt Rodgers

Matthew Vaughn is taking a break from the star-studded espionage of the Kingsman franchise in order to create an entirely new world of double-crossing spies featuring household names with AppleTV+ blockbuster Argylle, and now thanks to Henry Cavill’s Instagram account we’ve got our first look.

As well as the above photograph, which features Henry Cavill sporting a rather unique haircut as he dances True Lies style with debutant Dua Lipa, a 7-second teaser has emerged online that also shows West Side Story‘s Academy Award nominated Ariana DeBose.

The film, based on the soon to be launched novel Argylle, written by author Ellie Conway, follows the world’s greatest spy ‘Argylle’ as he is caught up in a globe-trotting adventure. It is the first part of an intended trilogy that will take the franchise from America, London, and various locations around the world.

Argylle‘s star-studded ensemble cast includes Henry Cavill (The Witcher), Sam Rockwell (Vice), Bryce Dallas-Howard (Jurassic World), Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), Dua Lipa (making her film debut and supplying the soundtrack), John Cena (Peacemaker), Catherine O’Hara (Schitt’s Creek), Samuel L. Jackson (The Hitman’s Bodyguard), Ariana DeBose (The Prom) and Rob Delaney (Deadpool 2).

Are you excited for Argylle? What do you think of this albeit brief look at the film? Let us know by heading to our social channels @FlickeringMyth…
