Marvel’s She-Hulk premiere date seemingly revealed by Disney+

May 16, 2022 by Gary Collinson

Moon Knight has come to an end, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is now in the rear-view mirror, but Marvel Studios’ 2022 output is showing no signs of slowing down.

Ms. Marvel is set to kick off on Disney+ on June 8th before Chris Hemsworth’s Thor teams with Natalie Portman’s Mighty Thor for the big screen sequel Thor: Love and Thunder from July 8th, and now it seems that August will herald the MCU arrival of the Sensational She-Hulk.

According to a now-deleted (and presumably accidental) post on the Disney+ UK website, She-Hulk is set to premiere on the streamer on August 17th, with the listing also including the following brief synopsis:

“This new comedy series sees Bruce Banner help his cousin, Jennifer Walters, when she needs an emergency blood transfusion and guess what? She receives his powers too. Tatiana Maslany will play Jennifer, who is a lawyer specialising in superhuman-oriented legal cases. Mark Ruffalo is back as the Hulk alongside Tim Roth, who plays the Abomination.”

The “comedy series” reference confirms Kevin Feige’s earlier comments describing She-Hulk as a “half-hour legal comedy”, with the 10-episode series marking the MCU’s first foray into full blown comedy.

She-Hulk stars Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/Abomination, Jameela Jamil as Titania, Ginger Gonzaga as Walters’ best friend, Renee Elise Goldsberry as Amelia, and Anais Almonte and Josh Segarra in as-yet-unrevealed roles.
