August 8, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

Sideshow and Premium Collectibles Studio have unveiled their new 1:3 scale Apollo Creed collectible statues, based on the likeness of Carl Weathers as seen in Rocky II and Rocky IV. Limited to 325 pieces each, the statues are available to pre-order now, priced at $1,205 apiece; check out the official promotional images below…

Apollo Creed takes to the mat in this extremely detailed and lifelike 1:3 scale collectible statue based on the iconic Rocky film series, expertly sculpted in the likeness of actor Carl Weathers. The heavyweight champion boxer measures 23” tall, standing on a 13″ wide black, yellow, red, and gray boxing ring canvas base detailed with a star in the center. Light on his feet and boasting a muscled physique, Apollo Creed keeps his fists raised in anticipation of a rematch versus series protagonist Rocky Balboa.

The Apollo Creed 1:3 Scale Statue – Rocky II Edition features a mixed media costume with custom tailored fabric elements to give collectors multiple display options on their shelf. His fabric red and white shorts feature an elastic-style waistband and his name on the thighs, and the collectible additionally includes a removable white and red entrance robe emblazoned with his World Heavyweight Champion title on the back. A display rack is included for when the robe is not being worn. The figure has sculpted red boxing gloves as well as sculpted socks and boots in a matching red and white color pattern. Fans can recreate this heavy hitter’s signature cinematic appearance on your shelf by pairing him with the Rocky II 1:3 Scale Statue by Premium Collectibles Studio, sold separately.
