Anya Taylor-Joy says Mad Max: Furiosa made her “tougher than she ever thought she could be”

In a new Instagram post, Taylor-Joy praised the Mad Max prequel’s cast and crew, while claiming the film made her stronger than before. She calls the film an honor and a privilege and also notes that filming Mad Max: Furiosa made her “tougher than she ever thought she could be.”

“As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.”

George Miller is directing Furiosa, the fifth entry in his Mad Max saga, while Anya Taylor-Joy is joined in the cast by Chris Hemsworth (Thor: Love and Thunder), Tom Burke (Mank) and Mad Max: Fury Road’s Angus Sampson and Nathan Jones. It is slated for release in 2024.
