Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again casts Margarita Levieva and Sandrine Holt in major roles

December 11, 2022 by Gary Collinson

It looks like Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk could be set for some new love interests when Daredevil and The Kingpin return in Daredevil: Born Again, as Deadline is reporting that Margarita Levieva (The Deuce) and Sandrine Holt (American Gigolo) have joined the Marvel Studios series in major roles.

While specific character details are being kept under wraps, according to Deadline’s report, Levieva and Holt may well be playing new romantic interests for the two male leads, which would presumably point towards the likes of Karen Page or Elektra Natchios for Matt and Vanessa for The Kingpin.

Those characters were previously portrayed in the Netflix Daredevil series by Deborah Ann Woll, Elodie Yung and Ayelet Zurer respectively, and so far there’s been no indication that any of those would be returning alongside Cox and D’Onofrio (in fact, Deborah Ann Woll revealed last month that she’s not had any contact with Marvel Studios). For the time being however, we can only speculate.

Along with Cox, D’Onofrio, Levieva and Holt, Daredevil: Born Again will also feature recent new addition Michael Gandolfini, whose role also remains a secret for now.

Daredevil: Born Again is slated to premiere on Disney+ in 2024.
