UDON and Capcom unveil official Street Fighter 6 prequel comic book

February 21, 2023 by Gary Collinson

UDON Entertainment and Capcom have officially unveiled the Street Fighter 6 comic book prequel series, which will launch on Free Comic Book Day in May with Street Fighter 6 #0 before leading into the four part series weekly throughout May.

“This is the first time that we’re doing this kind of comic book series that’s closely tied to the story of the main game,” says Street Fighter 6 game director Takayuki Nakayama in an interview with GameInformer.com. “We’re working very closely with our partners at UDON. We’re providing the script and the storyline of what to expect before the events of Street Fighter 6…!”

Here’s a look at the covers for the series…

Street Fighter 6 #0 will be available on Free Comic Book Day on Saturday, May 6th, with issues #1-4 then releasing weekly through May.
