If the 80s laid the foundation for profitable cartoons, the 90s reaped it to no end. Everyone talks about Batman: The Animated Series and Hey Arnold! because they were a huge success, but how about The Adventures of Tintin or SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron?

The reality is there were so many great shows that some went under the radar upon initial release. They were either too out-there for audiences or undermarketed by the production company.
